Construction Sales Professional

Location: Los Angeless, CA
A Los Angeles, California based commercial construction firm seeks an experienced Sales Professional to join our growing team. We are a quality focused and budget conscious developer offering a positive and fast-paced environment that specializes in in retail, restaurant, hospitality and mixed-use construction.
 
Responsibilities will include:
  • Reach out to customer leads through various bidding systems to secure contracts
  • Responsible for cold calling and lead follow-up of potential customers
  • Work with estimators to assure correct figures and materials are used
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with all vendors, clients, engineers, architects, owners, etc.
     
The successful candidate will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field  and /or
  • 3-5  years of experience selling for the construction industry
  • Demonstrated track record of consistent territory sales growth  
  • Background in and knowledge of construction
  • Must be able to travel frequently in the assigned territory as required  
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Buildertrend and various other software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
  • Well organized and reliable; self-motivated and poses strong relationship building skills
  • A high-level communicator with positive attitude and excellent people skills is required.
