VP of IoT Sales

Location: San Jose, CA
An energetic and motivated communication technology company is seeking a Vice President of Sales for their IoT sector. The organization is a world leader in platform software for the internet of things, serving the markets for intelligent buildings, smart city, energy information systems, data center, and government applications. We are changing the way the world incorporates devices into the operation of their businesses, helping our customers deliver superior software results for less money and in less time. We invent and manufacture technologies that address some of the world's toughest challenges linked to global macro trends like energy efficiency, clean energy generation, safety and security, globalization and customer productivity.
 
This opportunity will be primarily responsible for the leadership, development, and growth of a dynamic team which will support growth strategy and commercial initiatives. Successful candidates will be commercially-minded sales leaders with track records of success using both direct and distribution sales models.

Responsibilities include:
  • Generation of sales by developing strategic relationships with the largest enterprise end users
  • Identify and close enterprise opportunities on a large scale while working closely with valued and well developed channel partners
Essential qualifications include:
  • 5+ years’ experience in software and high technology products and services to large enterprises
  • Experience in cloud, big data and/or IoT solutions
  • Proven track record or progressive sales experience in enterprise software
  • Leadership abilities
Education requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field
