National Sales Representative

SKP Business Consulting LLP, a global professional services group, is seeking a talented National Sales Representative to join their growing professional services team.  We specialize in providing sound business guidance, tax guidance, and accounting services to international companies.

SKP Business Consulting LLP is pursuing expansion of US based operations and needs a national sales professional that exemplifies the following characteristics:
  • Effective communicator with excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Business savvy, outgoing and energetic
  • Able to effectively network with employees of other companies to explore how our expertise, experience, and services can be leveraged to provide valuable solutions to their businesses
Key responsibilities include:
  • Explore new business opportunities for SKP across US - identify key prospects, meet potential clients
  • Proactively seek out new opportunities with existing clientele, and maintain a portfolio of clients for repeat business
  • Establish a healthy and prolonged business relationship with clients
  • Effectively use CRM to enhance sales life cycle and build strong relationships
  • Identify and engage with other firms, influencers and trade bodies to enhance business opportunities
  • Attend networking events, especially related to target industries, to meet potential clients
  • Support other sales and marketing initiatives of the firm as required
 
Necessary skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelors’ degree in Sales, Accounting, Finance, Business or related; Master’s degree preferred
  • 2 - 4 years’ experience in selling business services particularly financial services
  • Good written and oral communication skills with ability to network effectively
  • Experience in healthcare and/or food processing sector preferred
  • Candidates with experience in business advisory or consulting and wanting to switch to a career in sales will also be considered
  • Must be able to travel at least 1 week per month; no overseas travel required
 
This position will be home based for 3-6 months then will transition to an office environment in Chicago.
