What are we looking for? 
An Executive Chef that will manage the kitchen, develop menus and create delectable recipes. Our ideal candidate will be creative, enthusiastic and passionate about food.
 
‘Day in the life’:
  • Plan and execute all menus for all orders and events.
  • Order and procure all food and dry kitchen supplies required to execute each order within budget.
  • Develop standard recipes and techniques for food prep and presentation to ensure consistently high quality food and to minimize food cost.
  • Work directly with team members, management and clients to provide menus and services to adhere to the individual culinary needs of each event.
  • Schedule and train kitchen staffing for daily prep and event assistance.
  • Successfully interact with management team to assure food production consistently exceeds the expectations of all guests and clients.
  • Evaluate product to ensure that quality, price and related goods are consistently met.
  • Maintain a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment.
  • Safeguard all food preparation and employee practices to ensure food safety, sanitation and accident prevention principles.

What do we require?
  • Minimum of 5-7+ consecutive years of professional culinary work in the catering, Restaurant, or professional food service arenas.
  • Culinary or bachelor’s degree (would be a plus)
  • Food Safe Management Certification
  • Must show a desire and willingness to create new flavors, experiment with new techniques, and stay current with emerging food trends
  • Ability to produce a high volume of work in a timely manner, which is accurate, complete, and of extremely high quality.
